Kidney Stoned

Uh, kidney stones suck. Hope you never get one. My dad has had five and my oldest brother has had six. Damn genetics! This is my first, and I can probably count on having more in the future. The Percocet certainly helps, but the initial pain is constant and sharp.

If I don't pass the stone tonight, I'm in for a fun procedure tomorrow morning. It is out-patient so it isn't very serious. I'll spare you of the specifics, but I'm sure you can use your imagination and figure out what they need to do. I'm in a Percocet induced haze as I type this and I'm pounding the water. Wish me luck.

Quit being such a little girl, gout can lead to kidney stones and you don't see me worriying, now the medical advice, get yourself a fifth of something you like, say Jack Daniels, then fill the bathtub with warm water, demand your wife bring whiskey on ice and tall glasses of water, keep the water warm and the Percocet flowing and you'll pass that sucker in no time, Furrick did it, it is like giving birth to sharp little stone made of uric acid crystals, oh yeah it's best to read Hemingway while in the tub or at least look at pictures of him cuz it helps you be a man, besides you won't have to worry bout sportin' wood lookin at pictures of Ernie.
