Stephen Malkmus for Sears
I just saw a Sears commercial that used Stephen Malkmus' song "Phantasies." It was very odd. Not nearly as odd as Hummer using Ratatat in one of their commercials last year.

I understand that Steph's got a wife & kid now, but why does he have to sell a GOOD song to a LAME company like Sears (Where America Slops). Next I suppose he'll be using Pavement tunes for the next Ty Pennington Home line... How lame. How sad.
