Bad Movie Monday: Spring Break Shark Attack
Oh boy, I haven't watched a bad movie in a few weeks so I tuned in to CBS's Spring Break Shark Attack last night. I'll make this short.
It was cross between an ABC Afterschool Special and Jaws. The sharks took a backseat to a story about the dangers of Rohypnol. Get to the sharks eating college kids dammit! I couldn't watch the ending, but I bet the girl from The OC didn't die.

Posted by: Tedd at March 22, 2005 12:12 PMListen kids this film was like the postmodern jaws okay. There's more danger in the world today than sharks man; roofies, girls gone wild, evil australians, hangovers etc. But in the end it is the fine upstanding Florida boy Charlie who guides us through the dangerous pitfalls of spring break by taking the moral high ground. Personally i'd a nailed the passed out chick and shaved her beaver but thats me. It was also Bryan Brown's finest performance since Cocktail.
Posted by: Lalalarry at March 22, 2005 1:23 PMThis movie also has a subtext about global warming and environmental pollution. Why else would tiger sharks suddenly start hunting in packs and lusting after human blood? (as duly noted by poor man lindsay lohan's Hooper-type brother from jaws type character) This film in cinematic art, especially when ridiculously high. I can only hope we all learned something.
