Cable is Back in My Life
Due to the very generous Comcast Cable corporation, I have 60+ channels of crap back in my life. I'll pay $19.99/month for the next six months and gladly shut it off in May.

In six months, you may be able to have Verizon fiber line put in. I heard that they may have a pay per play STATION option, so you can only pay for the channels you want.
This brings up the question: if this did come true, how long do you think PBS would last?
